Entity Wagering

Challenge
In 2015, Nevada passed a bill allowing the creation of wagering entities to be licensed in the state. This gave people outside of Nevada the ability to legally participate in sports betting. However, the regulatory paperwork and compliance checks involved were a hurdle for new entities and investors. We saw the potential to create a site that would assist in this.

Solution
Because an online entity wagering platform had never been attempted, we leveraged heuristic evaluations and expert interviews to establish guidelines for the user flow. And through early lead generation, we were able to garner enough interest to create user personas. With this information, we designed both a public-facing website for sports bettors and a management portal for entities. 

Outcome
We created a benchmark product to help sports bettors find newly regulated legal opportunities outside of their state and for entities manage new client relationships.
